Good luck!
I'll also just mention for Melbourne readers the fantastic girls of Thread Den, who are truly amazing, are putting on an extravaganza fashion show for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. It sounds amazing.
They say "it's going to be an amazing night out - with a cast of dancers, live strings, opera singers - and of course stunning couture and ready-to-wear collections from emerging Australian designers.
Tickets are cheap cheap at only $12 (plus booking fee) at the Thread Den shop. And you go into the draw to win a pre-show makeover (and who doesn't love a makeover?) dinner at Sosta Cucina,
bar tab at the after party and accommodation for two. So what's stopping you? Eh?"
Booking details:
Friday September 4, 7.30pm &
Saturday September 5, 7.30pm
The Lithuanian Club
44 Errol Street, North Melbourne
Tickets: $12 + credit card booking fee. Phone:( 03) 9329 5305

My favorite is definitely the peacock print.

This Aussie loves magpies, their antics, their song and their company but I just wish they would stop using fibre from my doormat for their nests!! Congrats on your move to Ireland Bridget, love all your work.
The Australian Magpie is my fave! A great print.
I love all the bird prints but I love the Kookaburra the most! Tjanks for the contest and good luck with your move!
My favourite print is still the cups which I got from you at the markets recently on a trip to Melbourne and hangs next to glittery cake cards my hubby got me from Zeta Florence... the best accompaniment for a cuppa!

the magpie is my favourite, all the best for your new adventures
Dear Bridget,
I love how you have illustrated the assemblage of three female Satin Bowerbirds - all too often people focus on the resplendent black-blue splendour of the males, but fail to see the exceptional beauty in the females (and young males which look VERY similar to females for several years until they reach maturity). I also like how the females share the brilliant iriscident violet-purple irises that the males have.
This probably has to be my favourite, but your gocco prints of the Victorian terraces and featherstitch fantails are also gorgeous!
All the best for your travels to N. Ireland!
:-) Alice.
The Peacock is great & the Orange Melbourne Victorian House is nice too!
Nice work!
I like the New Holland Honeyeater
