Fashion Ladies

Last night Jeremy played trumpet as part of the pre music for a fashion show taking place at The Horse Bazaar on Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. I, like a dutiful girlfriend, went along and sat in a corner, drawing and sipping white wine, watching all the glamourous girls in their little dresses. I'm glad I made a bit of an effort with my outfit, I didn't look too much of a scruff!

I have fallen in love with a pair of shoes, I can't get them out of my head. I keep thinking about them, they're a lovely soft grey colour (although I can only find a picture of them in black), the sweet square toe, the elegant 1940's heel. I tried on the sample pair, I've never worn such a comfortable shoe and it was 3 sizes too small for me, imagine how divine my size would feel! Only problem is they are $475. Yet for some reason I'm still crazily considering it. BEWARE! Do not go into shoe shops, especially into those you know are outside of your budget! (this one is on 313 Little Collins Street, Melbourne and called Giallo) Don't go there, it's all too lovely!

Here are my sketches of the lovely ladies at the Horse Bazaar, I wonder if any of them bought their shoes in Giallo?
